We are looking for a qualified test lead engineer to develop, execute and maintain test and QA procedures leading to WHQL certification. Using our 3D camera, your project will test and monitor the performance of the HID products that are enabled by our 3D imaging camera. You join an existing team of industry-recognized engineers who have years of experience developing systems to extract information from 3D and color cameras. You develop and execute automated test cases that involve manipulating 3D camera and various targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and organize test plans based on HID requirements
- Define and assist in setting up an automated environment for running the tests
- Help isolate the problem areas and factors leading to test failures
- Identify and track key performance drivers of the product and the underlying computer vision algorithms for various test cases
- Perform WHQL testing leading to the product certification
- Produce regular test reports, track and monitor product quality
- Create end of line (EOL) testing programs
- Work closely with customers and engineers to resolve software and hardware problems to meet test completion deadlines
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in software and hardware product test development and execution
- Experience in setting up, running and managing WHQL tests
- Proficient in using languages required for developing test scripts and test cases including C or C++
- Ability to create and execute test scripts and perform statistical analysis of the results
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills
- Must be detailed oriented and passionate about producing high quality and successful products
- Experience with testing HID applications is a plus
- Experience with manipulating multi-media data is a plus.
- Theoretical knowledge of computer image processing, 3D graphics and computer vision algorithms is a plus
- Ability to set up automated test environment including mechanical fixtures is a plus
- BSEE/CS or equivalent with 4-5 years of relevant experience
